My short-form video work brings together storytelling, videography, editing, and audio design to craft engaging content that resonates with online audiences. With a hands-on approach in real-world settings, I specialise in producing fast-paced, personality-driven videos that help businesses grow their online presence. From planning and shooting to mixing audio and shaping a story's flow in the edit, my goal is always to create scroll-stopping content that builds brands and tells stories with clarity and impact.
As part of my final dissertation project, I partnered with Toni’s Chip Shop to create a series of short-form videos aimed at increasing local engagement and brand awareness through storytelling. I handled everything from concept development, on-site filming, and audio capture, to editing and final delivery. By focusing on Toni’s personality, humour, and cultural relevance, I helped grow his TikTok following from 14.5k to over 30k between February and June 2025. This project demonstrated the power of authentic, community-driven content to drive both digital engagement and real-world impact.

Fresh Stepz approached me with a goal of improving their online visibility through more engaging short-form content. Handling production responsibilities — from ideation and field shooting to audio capture, editing, and final delivery. The first video I created for the business gained over 15,000 views, a significant leap from their previous average of 750 views per video.

I was commissioned to produce short-form promotional content in support of Gillian Mackay’s campaign to become co-leader of the Scottish Green Party. The work involved on-location shooting for press appearances, capturing social media-focused content, and crafting edits optimised for her personal platforms. The videos aimed to present Gillian as both professional and personable, helping to enhance her public image and connect with a wider, digitally engaged audience.

In addition to directing their music videos, I developed short-form promotional content tailored for TikTok and Instagram Reels. These edits adapted key visual moments and themes from the videos into bite-sized formats that resonated with fans and aligned with platform algorithm. This shift in content delivery contributed to increased online engagement, helping their singles reach 15,000 and 20,000 streams on Spotify.

Mojo’s Café, a locally run business in Greenock, faced challenges due to its location and low digital visibility. I worked closely with owner John to produce a series of short-form videos that not only highlighted the café’s offerings but brought his personality and story to the forefront. Despite initial hesitation about appearing on camera, John quickly became comfortable through my production guidance and direction. The resulting content created a local buzz, significantly boosting Mojo’s online presence and contributing to a noticeable increase in footfall and sales.
